Activities:
Florida's "Sunshine State" reputation is well earned, and you'll want to take advantage of every minute of it. If you're visiting in summer, however, remember that heat exhaustion is a real possibility here, and it can advance quickly to heat stroke. With its hundreds of miles of coastline, virtually any water-related sport can be found here. Be careful about surfing though - the sea storms that bring the good waves also bring dangerous rip currents.

There's no snow-skiing in Florida, but there is mountain biking. No mountains, but there are specially constructed sites just for mountain biking. Now if they could just solve that little no-snow problem...
